Women students in a community college were studied to determine the effects of single-sex counseling groups and two single-sex minicourses on reducing alienation and increasing self-regard and inner direction in women. (Author)

Questionnaires on eight role-conflict categories were administered to 518 women. A role-conflict hierarchy was established. Level of occupational status was found to be a significant variable in six of the categories. Professional women and housewives tended to give similar responses and to demonstrate the least amount of role conflict. (Author)

A total of 64 college-aged and elderly women participated in an experimental study of the effects of noncontingent positive feedback on simple speeded performance, performance self-evaluations, and self-reinforcing behavior.
