Interviews with 43 British students aged 14-16 identified the impact of Holocaust education on their views of stereotyping and scapegoating, racism, and active citizenship in a pluralist society. Despite their heightened awareness, there was some evidence of complacency about racism. (SK)

Survey responses from 280 British students aged 11-16 found girls well disposed toward physical education and almost as confident in their physical abilities as boys. They demonstrated no conflict between participation and notions of femininity and were more willing than boys to question the gender stereotypes assigned to sports. (SK)
