Assessed changes in the ability of girls from early to late adolescence to recognize their bodies. Subjects (N=157) were asked to choose their own picture (head occluded) from among five photographs. All were able to identify themselves with considerable accuracy, particularly the late-adolescent group. (JAC)

Compared levels of conformity to parents and peers of 592 Indian adolescents and investigated effects of age, sex, and locality on levels of conformity. Compared young adults who had experienced parental divorce before school age (n=134), in latency (n=129), and in adolescence (n=71). Found that 24% of boys who had experienced parental divorce in latency were depressive as compared with 9% and 6% in other groups.
