An attempt was made to standardize the Work Aspect Preference Scale for an Australian work sample, including 1,250 employed adults (46 percent females and 54 percent males). Use of percentile norms--developed for 3 age cohorts (20 years and younger, 21-30 years, and over 30 years) and by sex--is discussed. (SLD)

The criterion validity of the primary, elementary, and intermediate school forms of the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) in an Australian context was studied. Results with about 8,000 children in grades 1 through 8 support the criterion validity of the OLSAT for Australian samples. (SLD)

Ivison, David – Psychological Test Bulletin, 1990
Raven's Progressive Matrices and the Simpson Adult Vocabulary Scale were administered to 400 Australian hospitalized adults without psychiatric or neurological impairment in 4 age groups from 30 to 69 years. Compared to pre-1964 data, the subjects did not show gains in intelligence quotient as did younger age groups. (SLD)
