Self Directed Search (SDS) raw score and same-sex normed standard score codes were obtained on a sample of 16- to 18-year-old New Zealand high school students. The 59 boys and 59 girls who showed differences in the first letter of their codes rated the attractiveness of selected DOT job descriptions. (Author)

Occupational personality types of Arts and Science freshmen were compared employing the six General Occupational Themes of the Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory in a multiple-discriminant analysis. Interest patterns of Canadian military college cadets were acquired by administering Strong Vocational Interest Blanks to three consecutive entry classes at beginning, middle and end of their baccalaureate programs. Significant changes occurred on 16 of 22 Interest Scales, 38 of 54 Occupational Scales, and 4 of 8 Non-Occupational Scales. (Author)
