This study examined the relationship between PK3-12 teacher's perceived Leader Member Exchange with his/her principal and teacher job satisfaction. A demographic survey, the Leader Member Exchange Questionnaire 7 (Graen & Uhl-Bien, 1995) and the Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1994) were completed by 252 teachers from the researcher's personal and professional network. The LMX-7 measures three dimensions of leader member exchange relationships: respect, trust and obligation. The LMX-7 indicates the degree to which the perceived relationship between leader and follow are characteristic of partnerships, as described in the LMX model (Graen & Uhl-Bien, 1995). The JSS measured the teacher's job satisfaction in terms of Pay, Promotion, Supervision, Fringe Benefits, Contingent Rewards, and Operating Conditions, Coworkers, Nature of Work, Communication, and Total Teacher Job Satisfaction (Spector, 1994). Research showed that Leader Member Exchange was a significant, positive predictor of all job satisfaction facets. The higher the perceived LMX relationship quality, the more Job Satisfaction with Pay, Promotion, Supervision, Fringe Benefits, Contingent Rewards, Operating Conditions, Coworkers, Nature of Work, Communication, and Total Teacher Job Satisfaction. Tenure was negatively related to the following job satisfaction facets: pay, promotion, fringe benefits, and operating conditions. Results indicated the more tenure, the less satisfied teachers were with job satisfaction facets of pay, promotion, fringe benefits and operating conditions. Education was positively correlated to job satisfaction with pay meaning the more education, the more job satisfaction with pay.
