In 1977, a 10-year plan was developed for the improvement of health education in North Carolina schools through the hiring of additional health coordinators, the development of new health education curriculum guides, and the creation of additional health education programs. (JN)

A report is presented on a study which identified the self-reported AIDS education needs of 122 members of the Association for the Advancement of Health Education. Needs were assessed in the areas of resources, policy, training, and knowledge. Focus of concern was AIDS education within the school context. (IAH)
