Ellsworth, Randy; Bowman, Barbara E. – Computing Teacher, 1982
Ahl's questions about computers are investigated to determine if items could be used as scale to measure student beliefs about computers. Based on results of two samples--31 college students majoring in computer science and 109 students taking biology course--a 17-item scale was developed. Eight references are listed. (EJS)

Swenson, Carl – Computing Teacher, 1984
Presents three tenets for a computer course that blends a skills course centered on programing language and its uses and an awareness course focusing on computer literacy. The tenets suggest focusing on well-established aspects of computing, emphasizing concepts, and centering on computer applications. (MBR)
