Computer-assisted and paper-and-pencil-administered formats for the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventories were investigated. Subjects were 32 master's and doctoral-level counseling students. Results of a study of 289 undergraduate males indicate significant differences in personality traits between cigarette smokers and smokeless tobacco users. Smokeless tobacco users were more practical, conventional, and concerned with immediate interests and issues. Cigarette smokers tended to be more imaginative and Bohemian. (IAH)

Three fear of success measures correlated positively with the Alpert Haber Debilitating Anxiety Scale. Correlations between the Pappo Fear of Success Questionnaire (FOS) and the Zuckerman and Allison Fear of Success Scale (FOSS) were significant and positive. The Horner Scoring System was not significantly correlated with the FOS or FOSS. (EVH)

In 3 studies involving a total of 305 undergraduates, the Antisocial Practices (ASP) scale of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) exhibited convergent and discriminant validity with other measures of personality.
