The development of a one-day preenrollment program for early acceptees at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Rutgers Medical School that informs the acceptees about the educational program is described. The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, a program of the University of North Texas, is a two-year, residential, early-admissions program for high-school juniors gifted in mathematics and science.
