Coordinators of graduate rehabilitation counselor-education programs were surveyed to find if they were being required to do more with fewer resources. Indications are that such a trend is occurring. Findings suggest steps that can be taken to improve or alleviate the strain of insufficient resources and increased responsibilities. (Author)

Employer ratings of the competence of graduates were studied as evaluation measures for rehabilitation counselor education (RCE) programs, with preliminary versions of questionnaires currently being used in the RCE accreditation process. The ratings showed little relationship to graduate ratings of adequacy of RCE preparation received. (Author)

A job placement course designed for first-semester students was introduced in a rehabilitation counseling master's program. An agency-based field experience was combined with classwork.
