D'Augelli, Judith Frankel; Cross, Herbert J. – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1975
Experiment I assessed 119 unmarried college women with regard to sex behavior, sex guilt, and moral reasoning. Experiment II assessed 76 unmarried college couples on the same variables. The pattern of results suggests that the male partner is more influential than the female in setting standards for the couple. (Author)

Love, Robert E.; And Others – Journal of Counsulting and Clinical Psychology, 1976
Male undergraduates (N=35) were divided into three groups on the basis of scores on Mosher's Forced-Choice Guilt Inventory. The amount of time subjects spent viewing and rating photographic slides of varying erotic content was unobtrusively recorded. Results are consistent with a predicted defensive response for high sex guilt subjects. (Author)

Questionnaires were distributed to a random sample of currently enrolled full time students at a small highly selective liberal arts college located in the Pacific Northwest. Findings suggest that male students have added illegal drugs to their repertoire of interpersonal mechanisms for the control of relationships with women. (Author)

This study examined the interpersonal and sexual relationships of lesbians. Like most women, lesbians prefer slow moving, affectionate relationships and tend to remain with one partner for long periods of time. Their role in the university community is also discussed. (Author/EJT)

Measurement was made (Both longitudinally and cross-sectionally) of reference group selection with regard to sexual standards, perceived reference group norms with respect to premarital sexual permissiveness and the relationship of these variables to premarital sexual attitudes and behavior. Cohabitating college couples (N=89) responded to a questionnaire pertaining to their current sexual relationships and individual sexual behavior patterns, historical and present. Results indicate that those individuals, especially the males, had been unusually precocious in their sexual development. (Author)

The study was to obtain information on student attitudes in making administrative plans and decisions reciprocal with the needs and beliefs of students. Results indicated tolerance for private activity, moderate disregard of rules and traditional mores, and rejection of extreme behaviors. Administrative implications were discussed. (Author)
