Avant, Gayle R. – Alternative Higher Education: The Journal of Nontraditional Studies, 1981
A public service internship program at Baylor University is described. Student participants work a minimum of 100 hours per semester at a public or nonprofit agency in a job with a substantial administrative component. In 1976 the program was expanded to include student interns working in political campaigns. (MLW)
