Addresses areas which school library collections improved during the Library Power grant years, factors contributing to collection development improvements, how the collection formed the basis for collaborations between the librarian and teachers, and contributions of the collection to teaching and learning. This article is an attempt to communicate to chemistry teachers some of the benefits they may obtain through the use of ERIC materials when planning chemistry lessons. A general description of ERIC and its services are included. Specific examples of ERIC materials related to high school chemistry are discussed. (Author/DS)
