Tomine, Satsuki – Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development, 1985
Examined the effect of Jan Ken Po Gakko, a Japanese-American history, culture, and language education program on the self-concept of Japanese-American children (N=40). Results indicated the participants increased in positive self-concept over time. Implications for counseling are given. (BL)
