Learning disabled subjects functioned on both the cognitive and perceptual sections of a Time Understanding Inventory at a level three grades below their CA grade placement equivalent, suggesting that their lack of mastery of time concepts represented a generalized rather than specific disability. Twenty-four children (8 to 9 years old) who reversed letters were randomly assigned to either the control or experimental group (15 additional minutes of laterality training per day for 4 weeks).
