Compared restricted and expanded awareness types of meditation with quiet sitting, and controls. All groups except controls became less anxious, more intuitive, and more internal on locus of control. Institutionalized emotionally disturbed boys and noninstitutionalized normal boys were administered the Nowicki-Strickland Locus of Control Scale for Children.
