International Journal for Technology in Mathematics Education, v31 n4 p47-50 2024
Interesting conservation properties that exist in parallelograms are well known, such as: diagonal intersection, pairs of interior triangles that overlap each other, and other properties. This article presents a dynamic study of choosing any point inside and outside the parallelogram and connecting it with two of the vertices of the parallelogram. It is proven mathematically and by using dynamic computer technology, that a triangle is formed, whose area is always equal to half the area of the parallelogram.
