Over 500 preservice and inservice elementary and secondary teachers were surveyed to assess the need for metric education in Nevada. A questionnaire was used to determine interest in the topic. Another instrument measured cognitive knowledge of metrics. Results indicated that teachers knew little but were interested in metric education. (CP)
