Describes the long-term economic and demographic forecast from recent long-term computer global models, discusses their relevance and limitations with regard to educational policy, and suggests a computable quantitative framework designed to overcome criticisms of current models. (Author/CMV)

The results of the WASC Project at the Technical University of Wroclaw have confirmed the possibility of constructing informatic systems based on the recognized size and specifics of user's needs (needs of the university) and provided some solutions to the problem of collaboration of computer systems at remote universities.
