The National Literacy Program in Namibia (NLPN) was launched in 1992 with the objective of achieving 80% national literacy among adults. The instructional goals and curriculum content developed for Nigeria's Universal Primary Education Program were evaluated by 265 teachers and administrators involved in the free six-year school system.
