Administered the Residence Hall Environment Questionnaire to 9,595 dormitory residents to measure student perceptions and provide feedback to housing staff members. Results indicated most students characterized their residence hall as a supportive, active, and educational environment and were very satisfied with living conditions. (JAC)

Proposed a causal model to examine the impact of resident living on student development. Tested the model with 4,191 college students.
