In the context of the digital age, the preservation and transmission of traditional Chinese operas face both challenges and opportunities, particularly with the rise of new media technologies. This study explores Min Opera as an embodiment of cultural values and a medium for educational inheritance, emphasizing the transformative role of new media in enhancing its dissemination, innovation, and audience engagement. By analyzing the characteristics of new media--such as fragmented communication, bidirectional interaction, and multi-platform integration--alongside the integration of digital technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, and digital stage design, this research examines how modern technological advancements reshape the performance and viewing experience of Min Opera. The findings indicate that new media not only expand the reach of Min Opera to broader and younger audiences but also modernize its artistic expression while preserving its cultural essence. This study highlights digital technology's profound potential in sustaining Min Opera's vitality, providing strategic insights for its continued development, and contributing to the broader discourse on the preservation and innovation of Chinese local operas in the contemporary media landscape.
