The results of a parent education survey among 44 colleges and universities are reported. The greatest indication of need is for curriculum and demonstration materials as well as good textbook material for college students in education for parenthood classes. The survey reveals a need for materials and leadership in parent education. (Author)

Considerations and concerns about education for parenthood in secondary public schools are discussed. The authors state that home economics teachers are often the ones to initiate and implement such programs.
