The greatest indication of need is for curriculum and demonstration materials as well as good textbook material for college students in education for parenthood classes. It is concluded that the vast majority of authors of child-rearing guides implicity or explicitly endorse the traditional roles of father as the dominant breadwinner and mother as the nurturant caretaker.
