A factorial design was utilized to investigate the effects of race on expressers and perceivers on the perception of seven emotions. Overall results indicated significant effects. (DM)

This study investigated the effects of sex of perceiver, race of expressor, and mode of presentation of stimuli (Audio/visual, visual/only, audio/only, and still pictures) on perception of emotion. Emotions are most accurately perceived in audio/visual; females were superior in perception of emotions. (JB)
