The core of traits which described the cohorts of each category of women drinkers were discernible to raters in the early adolescent period. Thirty-two terminators and 28 continuers in personal counseling were compared on three measures derived from precounseling Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) data.
