Based on ratings by classmates, counselors were dicotomized according to probability of being referred agitated or constrained clients. Counselors to whom the former were referred had higher MMPI scores on D and Pt scales and lower scores on Es scales. (Author)

Several general findings emerged: (a) a combination of typological pattern and magnitude of dimensional scores rather than either factor alone was a better predictor of future recidivism, and (b) among milder delinquent types, race may be operating as a bias in determining incarceration. (Author)

The repertory grid technique was used to explore psychopaths' interpersonal and personal construct systems. Subjects were asked to construe as individuals, and subjects were asked how they thought people in general construed the situations.
