Pinheiro, Igor Reszka; Cruz, Roberto Moraes – Creativity Research Journal, 2014
This article borrowed network analysis tools to discover how the construct formed by the set of all measures of creativity configures itself. To this end, using a variant of the meta-analytical method, a database was compiled simulating 42,381 responses to 974 variables centered on 64 creativity measures. Results, although preliminary, indicate…

Domino, George; Bohn, Sarah Ann – Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1980
Sleep positions, particularly the full fetal position, appear to be related to California Psychological Inventory (CPI) variables of sociability, sense of well being, achievement by conformance, femininity, and social maturity. (Author)

Carbonell, Joyce L.; And Others – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1984
Investigated the degree to which the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) and the California Psychological Inventory (CPI) could predict criteria of adjustment to prison in 1,313 inmates. Results showed that neither the MMPI or CPI scales were accurate enough to be used alone for individual actuarial prediction. (LLL)

Campbell, John B.; Chun, Ki-Taek – Applied Psychological Measurement, 1977
A multiple regression approach is used to assess the feasibility of reciprocal prediction between the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire scales and the California Psychological Inventory scales (i.e., the prediction of each 16PF scale from the CPI scales and of each CPI scale from the 16PF scales). (RC)

The California Psychological Inventory (CPI) includes a three-vector model of personality based on orientation toward people, orientation toward societal values, and ego integration. Goldberg, Lewis R. – Applied Psychological Measurement, 1978
Three personality measures were administered twice each with an interval of four weeks between administrations, and the response consistency of these tests was analyzed. The evidence is equivocal. The confounding of consistency effects with other sources of variance remains a problem. (Author/CTM)

Farley, Frank H.; Cohen, Arie – Journal of Research in Personality, 1980
Most psychological tests and inventories, particularly in personality and attitude measurement, contain common items. The present report specifically considered common-item contributions to test internal consistency reliability using extant data from the California Psychological Inventory. No negative contribution of item overlap was found.…

Reynolds, Carl H.; Nichols, Robert C. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1977
A factor analytic study investigated the validity of the California Psychological Inventory. Sixteen of the eighteen scales were investigated in relation to criterion variables and most showed that the factor scales were valid measures. (JKS)

Harris, Thomas L.; Brown, Nina W. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1979
The validity of the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) was investigated by correlating it with the six Class I scales of the California Psychological Inventory on a sample of undergraduate students. Results supported the validity of the RAS. (JKS)
