Applied three readability formulas differing in criterion for comprehension (50-100 percent) to the Personality Inventory for Children (PIC), Revised Format, and to abbreviated forms of the inventory. Three Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory short forms, the Mini-Mult, Faschingbauer's 166, and the MMPI-168, which were constructed by different methodologies, were compared on a sample of 1,028 psychiatric patients. Discriminated three groups of neuropsychiatric outpatients (N=138) using a measure of aggression formed by summing subscales of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. Multiple discriminant analysis of Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) scores between high-IQ White, high-IQ Black, low-IQ White, and low-IQ Black subjects yielded two significant canonical variates.
