Korabik, Karen – Social Behavior and Personality, 1982
Studied the influence of sex-typed trait description on ratings of likeableness. Results showed female students (N=90) rated masculine role descriptions less favorably than female or androgynous descriptions regardless of gender ascribed to the stimulus person. Males (N=90) were influenced by gender appropriateness. (WAS)
