This article advances an array of hypotheses which are suggested as influential in the establishment and development of programs concerned with continuing education for women on a university campus. The hypotheses are examined and critiqued. (Author/EJT)

This article describes the role older students can perform in postsecondary education. It examines the reasons adults are attending school and some of the factors contributing to the older studetn's success.
