As technology continues to advance State colleges will play an increasingly important and expanding role in post-secondary education. Technical education will become more frequently offered in two-year colleges while specialization and sophistication will require the development of more four year programs. Teacher education must expand rapidly to stay abreast of technological change. (DS)
