When 60 schizophrenic adults from the United Kingdom were interviewed, 26 expressed an interest in further education; 2 were currently participating in educational courses. Analyses revealed that expressed interest in education was significantly associated with an individual's background and age and with how he/she construed the associated benefits and difficulties.
