A factor analysis was conducted on Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (HOME) item scores of low-income black and white urban mothers of infants 13 to 30 months of age to determine the extent to which the existing subscales were evident in this factor analysis.

Outlines the development of the Work Opinion Questionnaire (WOQ), a measure of job-related attitudes which was validated on low-income Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) workers (N=670) in entry level positions. Scores from the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE) served as the criterion variable in a comparison of the predictive validity of the Dental Hygiene Aptitude Tests (DHAT) and the ACT Assessment tests. Preliminary reliability and validity data, based on 50 cases, are presented for this screening device designed to predict which women are at risk of being abused by their spouses. Tested the utility of the Career Decision Scale in identifying chronic career indecision in 205 high school seniors. Followup data was gathered three years later.
