Presents methodology used in collecting data for study of the relationship of sexual orientation and social sex-role to the protection of civil liberties. This paper outlines three training programs in sex counseling, labeled didactic, experiential and conjoint. It is suggested that the programs be implemented on a trial basis as modules of regular practicum courses in counselor education. (Author)

This project was to defuse common myths that hinder communication about sexuality to help parents become more effective sex educators of their own children. Over 1,000 parents participated in programs offered by 70 community leaders trained through the project. Recommendations for curriculum and structure of such programs are discussed. (Author)

This paper explores innovative treatment modalities that may encourage the participation of lower socioeconomic minority clients in sex therapy programs. It suggests the consideration of informal therapeutic settings, flexible hours, and an immediate contact with the therapist. (Author)

The affective education program on human sexuality in this study increased students' awareness about the human body without increasing feelings of anxiety. The sessions provided an atmosphere which helped students understand themselves better and increase their knowledge about personal interests. (Author)
