This project was to defuse common myths that hinder communication about sexuality to help parents become more effective sex educators of their own children. Over 1,000 parents participated in programs offered by 70 community leaders trained through the project. Recommendations for curriculum and structure of such programs are discussed. (Author)

The affective education program on human sexuality in this study increased students' awareness about the human body without increasing feelings of anxiety.
