The Teacher Learning Center, developed by Bowling Green State University (BGSU), was designed as a public school-university cooperative approach to teacher education. The BGSU center was organized for a team teaching approach with two student teachers assigned to each cooperating teacher for 11 weeks. The 20 to 24 student teachers placed in the center offered a variety of backgrounds and experiences to be used as resources for all pupils in the school.
