Discussed is the role of the parent of the gifted preschool child, and described is a parent group based on the philosophy that home, school, and community should work together in the education of the gifted child. It is explained that the program focused on self concepts of parent and child, characteristics of gifted children, opportunity for sharing among parents, the use of community resource personnel, and the importance of the gifted child's environment.
