This article provides a brief description of the PREP (Practical Resources for Education Professionals) Center and the practical tools and resources it offers. The PREP Center does not compete with school or district staff development efforts. Its purpose is to collaborate with schools and school districts to create a network of professionalism, alleviate feelings of professional isolation, and enable pooling of resources. It offers workshops, hosts relevant coursework opportunities and national speakers, and acts as a clearinghouse of best practices.
