A program is described in which home economics teacher educators at Texas Tech University developed a training program for Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) clients which utilized the resources of both vocational educators and CETA personnel. The staff of the Young Adult Training Center, Columbia, Missouri, used Canfield's Learning Styles Inventory to select enrollees for its training programs and to modify instructional strategies based on learner needs.
