This is a guide to program components and models for orientation of refugees, sponsors, and service providers. Necessary orientation program components are identified and a range of existing orientation models are reviewed with reference to successful programs in the United States. The document is intended to aid in the selection of program models that will suit various communities. In addition, it serves as a guide toward strengthening existing programs, evaluating current services and developing new proposals. (Author/APM)
