The primary objectives of the study were to determine the relationships of various social and personal factors to adjustment, to identitify the attitudes, values and motivations which either facilitate or retard adjustment. The finding will provide guidelines for planning adult education programmes for revitalising the rural people in these war affected areas of Nigeria. (Author)
