Describes a workshop designed as a mutual training experience for parents and teachers. Goals were: to provide an opportunity for positive interaction and a perception of shared goals between Black parents and their children's teachers. Participants developed a set of action plans to meet the needs of Black children and evaluated the workshop. (Author)
