Traub, Nina – Annals of Dyslexia, 1982
Evaluation data is presented to document the effectiveness of the Traub Tutorial Program with learning disabled students. The method uses a diagnostic approach with sequential learning tasks and stresses the development of ability as well as actual achievement in the basic skills of reading, spelling, and handwriting. This study determined the effects of using truant and tardy junior high school learning-disabled students as tutors for younger learning-disabled pupils.
