This research examines the effects of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) on elementary-aged students' social and emotional development. Public school systems are tasked with finding programs to help develop social and emotional skills in students to help promote overall success. This research provides insight into how PBIS can impact the social and emotional development of students and how teachers perceive the PBIS program. The findings include results surrounding student, quantitative, data and teacher, qualitative, and perceptions. Recommendations for future research and school leaders are included.
