This study was conducted to investigate the impact of school resources on student outcomes in urban K-12 Catholic schools participating in the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program (DC OSP). DC OSP, a K-12 federally-funded voucher program enables economically disadvantaged families to enroll their children in private schools, including Catholic institutions. Using a non-experimental quantitative correlational design, the study employed Spearman's rank correlation coefficient to analyze survey data from eight urban K-12 Catholic schools. Key variables included teacher qualifications, academic support services, and various school resources. The findings revealed significant positive correlations between transportation services and student completion rates and strong correlations between meal programs and graduation rates. While not statistically significant, moderate positive correlations were observed between teacher certifications and student outcomes. Additionally, active parental involvement showed weak positive correlations with student success. The results underscore the critical role of school resources, particularly transportation and meal programs, in influencing student achievement in urban K-12 Catholic schools. These findings suggest that educational policies should prioritize enhancing these resources to improve student outcomes in economically disadvantaged urban areas. The study provides evidence-based recommendations for policymakers and educators to strengthen school support services, emphasizing the necessity of holistic support for underprivileged students. Future research with larger sample sizes and diverse populations is recommended to validate and extend these findings.
