Educator Perceptions of One-to-One Technology Programs: Developing a Baseline for Future Teachers
Andrew Dell
Pennsylvania Teacher Educator, v19 p25-39 2020
Pennsylvania teachers were surveyed about their perception of the outcomes of one-to-one technology programs. Results quantified teacher perceptions regarding: (1) educational resources; (2) the effects of school environments; and (3) standardized test scores. Results demonstrate that Pennsylvania educators do not perceive one-to-one programs improve student achievement. The results of this study can help school administrators and teacher educators devise instructional activities and programs to assist both pre-service and in-service teachers in their preparedness to use this technology.
