The purpose of this study was to determine if the newly placed emphasis on job placement in secondary schools has affected the means by which students actually find entry-level jobs. Three Delaware schools (urban, suburban, and rural) were surveyed. Results indicate "placement persons" had little effect on graduates placed. (Author)

The study reviewed findings on the postschool adjustment of 160 behavior-disordered students who graduated from special education programs in the state of Washington between 1978 and 1986.
