Studied the effects of conversation skills training for two retarded and one learning disabled participant in a sheltered workshop. Tested the effectiveness of the Streit Family Communication Workshops in improving perception in 11 families with adolescent children. Results indicated the viability of the workshop in changing perception, showing changes which should lead toward decreased drug use. Further evaluation of duration of change is needed. (LLL)

Tested the effectiveness of a one-day career guidance laboratory on the career aspirations of 48 gifted male and female high school students. Results showed the program was effective for the girls, who raised their career aspirations significantly while the boys, who began with higher aspirations, did not change. (JAC)
