Describes the first phase of an Internet overview training program presented to academic staff at the University of Sydney (Australia). The use of locally created Hypertext Markup Language documents is explained, and an evaluation of the program indicated the success of using World Wide Web browsers as an aid in training. The intensive case management service provided by a mental health consumer team of case managers was compared to services of nonconsumer case managers. Results from 91 clients with serious mental illness found significant differences in outcomes after a year only in the areas of patient satisfaction and contact with family. (SLD)

Alvik, Trond – Studies in Educational Evaluation, 1995
The introduction of school-based evaluation as part of a national educational evaluation scheme in Norway was studied through observation, field notes, interviews, and questionnaires in a lower secondary school with a staff of around 50. Findings suggest that school-based evaluation is being implemented with positive teacher attitudes. (SLD)
